WAYS TO PRACTICE YOGA WHEN YOU “DON’T FEEL LIKE IT”
1. Flip the switch. Rather than keep saying to yourself “I just don’t feel like it” switch to a positive mindset: “I’ll go; I’ll do it; and I’ll feel much better”.
2. Buy your own yoga props – get a new mat-a good, high quality one; your own blanket(s); your own blocks, strap. Having your own equipment is motivating.
3. Do it with a friend. Don’t feel like going? Call up a friend and invite him or her to join you for class.
4. Do a quick web search . . . on the benefits of yoga. Simply reading one or two short articles will quickly bring you inspiration and motivation to do it.
5. Browse instagram or TikTok to view yogis doing and enjoying their practice. This can energize you to get to a class.
