Mark Travers, PhD., psychologist and writer studies the science backed benefits of sound baths and indicates that participants experience (at least) these seven positives:
1. Heightened spiritual and emotional well being
2. Reduction in tension and depressed moods
3. The effects are experienced even in a single session
4. Those completely new to sound baths benefit immediately
5. Relaxation in heart rates, stress levels
6. Lower levels of anger, fatigue, confusion.
7. Sound baths are safe, low-cost interventions for sleep disruptions, chronic pain and anxiety.
